Capturing a pet’s soul with an original commissioned work of art for yourself or as a gift is priceless. It is an original, one-of-a-kind, personalized, meaningful expression of love.
Here is how it comes together:
Timing
Deciding when you would like your commission to be completed is usually the first item on the list. If you have a special date or a specific timeframe – I will work with you as much as my current commission schedule will allow. Once we have agreed upon a delivery date, we can move on to selecting a photo that I will use as inspiration.
Images
We start by reviewing a group of 3-5 images together. It is best if the images are electronic, high resolution (sent to me via email), but I will also accept physical printed photos as well. The best photo will result in the best portrait. A list of tips for the ideal image will be sent to you at this stage.
Once the perfect image is chosen and any *additional options have been considered, a complete portrait fee will be determined and you will receive an invoice with a statement of work. Your commission is started only after payment is received along with the signed Statement of Work.
*This may include, and not be limited to canvas type, size, frame, background details, etc.
Collaboration
You are invited to provide input during the process as much or as little as you wish. Depending on your preference, you will receive 2 – 3 images as the portrait comes to life. This ensures a smooth process from inception to completion.
This is your commission and it isn’t complete until you are absolutely thrilled with the final work. Should changes arise outside of the agreed upon Statement of Work, additional fees may result.
Delivery
Complimentary doorstep delivery, within the Denver Metro area, is included. Should you require shipping (ground or next day), this fee shall be added separately into the Statement of Work and billed separately.
